In heavy-duty manufacturing and industrial processing industries, tracking inventory is exceptionally complex because the inventory belongs to two different categories: raw materials owned by the plant, and specialized parts owned by the customers. Our client, a high-volume parts processing facility, was struggling to manage this dual-track inventory pipeline. Coordinating stockroom hand-offs, shop-floor shifting, processing milestones, and final outbound logistics through paper trails and manual ledgers created an operational bottleneck.

We engineered a centralized Industrial Inventory and Process Management Platform designed to map the factory floor's exact physical workflow. The system provides absolute traceability for every single customer part, tracks raw material consumption, optimizes inner-plant material shifting, and automates the generation of regulatory delivery challans and final invoices.

The Problem: Shop-Floor Blind Spots and Tracking Friction

Operating an industrial processing plant without an integrated inventory management engine leads to severe coordination failures between the stockroom and the production line:

  • The Part Traceability Void: Customer-owned parts arrive in varied batch sizes for specialized processing.
