Shelf-Ready Packaging Identity for Arrus Frozen Foods
High-impact packaging systems for premium fruit pulps
About This Project
The Challenge
Supermarket freezers present tough display conditions: frost buildup, condensation, and poor lighting make standard packaging designs blend into the background or become illegible. Multiple fruit varieties, including Alphonso Mango, Chiku, and Anjeer, needed distinct visual identifiers while still reading as one cohesive product family. The packaging also had to communicate "100% Natural Pulp" to health-conscious buyers while fitting in mandatory regulatory data, storage instructions, FSSAI compliance, and nutritional information without visual clutter.
The Solution
We engineered a packaging system bridging farm-fresh authenticity with industrial retail standards. A signature color-coding system was developed per flavor, using saturated vector illustrations and macro fruit photography with premium backgrounds, golden tones for Mango, earthy hues for Chiku, and royal purples for Anjeer. A clean, high-contrast front-panel layout enables flavor differentiation in under a second, even viewed through frosted glass, with a strict typographic hierarchy placing the Arrus logo at the top, the fruit flavor as the centerpiece, and consumer benefit icons along the bottom. A dual-column structural back-panel template organizes ingredients, allergen warnings, multilingual usage instructions, and batch and expiry areas compatible with automated printing.
Results
- High-contrast color choices keep the product distinct against competing frozen items
- A modular framework that supports future flavor variants without compromising the core brand identity
