Summary:

We are looking for a Mid-Level React Native Developer to be a core contributor to our flagship mobile commerce application. This role requires proven expertise in building robust, performant cross-platform apps, ideally within the e-commerce domain. You will not only own feature development but also manage the complete release lifecycle, including store submission and maintenance on the respective platforms like Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Key Responsibilities:

● Independently design, develop, test, and deploy medium to large-scale user features for our iOS and Android applications using React Native.

● Write clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code, actively participating in peer code reviews and upholding team coding standards.

● Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth, native-like user experience, especially around high-traffic areas like product listing and checkout.

● Translate UI/UX design mock-ups and wireframes into highly responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.

● Integrate mobile applications with back-end services and APIs.

● Implement core e-commerce functionalities, including product catalog display, shopping cart management, payment gateway integration, user authentication, and order tracking.

● Integrate and maintain third-party SDKs critical to an e-commerce platform like push notifications, analytics, payment providers etc.

● Diagnose and fix bugs, resolve performance bottlenecks, and ensure optimal application performance across different devices and operating systems.

● Ensure secure coding practices, particularly concerning sensitive user and payment data.

● Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and work effectively within a development team.

● Work with native modules and platform-specific code (iOS/Android) when required to access unique device capabilities.

● Implement unit tests, integration tests, and ensure high code coverage to maintain application stability.

● Own the end-to-end mobile application release process, including versioning, generating final application bundles (APKs/AABs/IPAs), and managing beta programs.

● Prepare all necessary assets, metadata, and submissions for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, ensuring compliance with all platform guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

● 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, with at least 2 years focused on React Native.

● Proven experience developing and maintaining mobile applications for an e-commerce or transactional business.

● Integrating third party SDKs/APIs.

● Strong expertise in React Native, state management solutions (Redux/Redux Toolkit) or relative technologies.

● Direct, hands-on experience with the deployment process to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

● Familiarity with integrating external APIs.

● Proficient with code versioning tools (Git) and development environments.
