Position Overview

As a Software Testing Intern, you will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. You’ll assist in identifying bugs, reporting issues, and collaborating with the development team to improve the overall functionality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of manual tests on web and mobile applications.
• Identify, report, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Work closely with the development team to understand software functionality and requirements.
• Write detailed test cases and create test documentation.
• Perform regression testing, functional testing, and usability testing.
• Ensure that software applications meet quality standards before deployment.
• Provide feedback to improve user experience and application performance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of manual testing; any exposure to automation testing tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
